Line lived on Rosni Farm, she lived near McCoy, she lived in Wake Forest, she lived in the Glendale neighborhood of Jacksonville, she lived in downtown Quincy Florida, she lived in Albemarle County. She swam in the James, the Rapidan, the St. Johns, the New and the Apalachicola rivers. She went to ground in Charlottesville, beneath a Japanese maple from my natal home.
Yesterday Matilda and I visited Line’s Charlottesville veterinarian. The DVM is retiring at month’s end following near 50 years healing animals. A good life and a great gift to this community.
