A large media contingent on hand Monday for the Charlottesville City Council meeting. I heard a man in the chamber say that he found the meetings "much more lively" than anything in the local theaters and 12 dollars cheaper.

The first two hours of the Council meeting were spent on “SPECIAL REPORT / PUBLIC HEARING: August 11/12 Community Response and Next Steps”. Lots of speakers. Theater in the round.
