I stumbled off the track to success in 1968, started chasing shadows that summer. Since then, In addition to farm-laborer and newspaper photographer my occupational incarnations include dishwasher, janitor, retail photo clerk, plumber, HVAC repairman, auto mechanic, CAT scan technologist, computer worker and politico (whatever it takes to buy a camera.) I am on the road to understanding black and white photography.
Stoli was a Samoyed. The name comes from the Samoyedic people of Siberia. The dogs were primarily herding dogs, but they also pulled sleds, slept in tents at night to provide warmth, and babysat in a pinch. An all-purpose dog for life in Siberia.Stoli speaks!
The Thomas Jefferson Planning District Commission is working to submit a bike-ped bridge proposal to VDOT later this year. The TJPDC is considering two potential bridge locations. One bridge would land at the end of Chesapeake Street, one would land at the end of Market Street.
