I stumbled off the track to success in 1968, started chasing shadows that summer. Since then, In addition to farm-laborer and newspaper photographer my occupational incarnations include dishwasher, janitor, retail photo clerk, plumber, HVAC repairman, auto mechanic, CAT scan technologist, computer worker and politico (whatever it takes to buy a camera.) I am on the road to understanding black and white photography.

  1. Love this! I feel as if I was there too, and I do love a road trip! ….Especially like the greyhound image. Wishing you more safe and magical journeys, good health and lots of laughter this year and always!

  2. New Year’s Road Trip! Nice images, Bill, and as always I’m intrigued by the brief words you choose. Snow. We missed a light dusting here as we were in Mexico…they say the east coast is set for another hammering today. I wonder if you are still in that nice kitchen Gray loved…..be well. Happy new year.

  3. Glad you made it there safely. Is Sophia with you? Happy cooking… hope you’re cranking out some pot roast!
