not b&w, not in the Chesapeake Bay watershed

Author: WmX

I stumbled off the track to success in 1968, started chasing shadows that summer. Since then, In addition to farm-laborer and newspaper photographer my occupational incarnations include dishwasher, janitor, retail photo clerk, plumber, HVAC repairman, auto mechanic, CAT scan technologist, computer worker and politico (whatever it takes to buy a camera.) I am on the road to understanding black and white photography.

  1. Not particularly Emoryesque, but nice. Are you flirting with HDR? Usually creeps me out, but it’s gives this very American landscape a surreal, dreamy feel — in a David Lynch kind of way.

  2. Well it’s enough to make a boy homesick for the high plains. And that’s a compliment.

  3. Not b&w. Not in the Chesapeake Bay watershed. But a beauty! A beauty that left me dreaming of wide open countries. Deserted & lonesome. Left behind on the way to search work, wealth & luck. A deep & great photograph, Bill!

All the best & safe travels,
    Fritsch.
